Salem Web Network (SWN) is excited to announce a crucial position on our content team designed to help us build an audience for our networks of podcasts.

We are seeking a Podcast Marketing Coordinator to assist the SWN podcasting team with the administration and promotion of its podcasting networks;

LifeAudio. Parthenon, and Senior Resource Podcast Network. The podcast marketing coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of podcast operations, promotion, and publication.

Responsibilities

As a podcast coordinator and a crucial contributor to the overall mission of the SWN podcasting team, you will be responsible for the following :

• Creating and implementing marketing plans (features, social media, email newsletters, editorial embeds, networking, for our podcasts.
• Interfacing with freelancers, hosts, and producers.
• Managing the creation and implementation of advertising sponsorships.
• Liaising with Sales, Marketing, Social Media, and other departments to strategize maximum return on our content.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate :

• Will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Will have at least 2 years experience producing and / or promoting podcasts
• Has 2-4 years experience in media, marketing or communication fields
• Must be highly organized and work with high attention to detail
• Must have a proven track record of working on deadline
• Must demonstrate innovation and creativity with digital content
• Must demonstrate an understanding of our evangelical Christian audience members’ (LifeAudio) interests, behavior, and core values
• Must be conversant in socio-cultural issues impacting the Christian Church
• Has experience in brand management on social media, particularly with Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
• Demonstrates an ability to juggle multiple projects and aggressive deadlines
• Will demonstrate the ability to network across departments to achieve podcasting business and marketing goals
• Experience hosting a podcast is a plus
• Sound engineer experience a plus

Please Note :

This is a production and marketing position, not a technical one, although some basic technical training on our operational systems will be part of the job.

Compensation

$24.04 - 26.45 per hour
